<br />. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />Nyberg stated that Mr. Goertz will be going back to P&Z with another option for <br />development. <br /> <br />Mill Road Water Hookups <br /> <br />MOTION by Buckbee, second by Wilharber to notify residents on Mill Road that the <br />water hookup fee would be increased by 3% per year back to 1993, and also providing <br />them with a 30 day notice to pay at current rate. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Noise Permit for Waterworks Beach Club <br /> <br />Helmbrecht stated that Ken Sorenson requested a noise permit to put a band on their deck <br />on Saturday, July 27, 1996, for the Fete de Lacs. <br /> <br />MOTION by Buckbee, second by Wilharber to deny Waterwork's request for a noise <br />permit for Saturday, July 27, 1996, because ofthe competition it would create with the <br />Lions and the amount of traffic and commotion that will already by in the city. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />MOTION by Buckbee, second by Wilharber to have Councilmember Helmbrecht work <br />with staff regarding a flyer regarding the parade routes and times. Motion carried, <br />Helmbrecht voted nay. <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATOR REPORTS <br /> <br />Employee Issues <br /> <br />March stated that the software to complete compliance requirements has been ordered. <br />March recommended a 3% increase for Paul, Danell and Trudi. <br /> <br />Helmbrecht wants the situation with Paul's exempt status to be looked into. March stated <br />that it had been addressed in the past and determined that it could not be done. <br />Helmbrecht said it depends on how much time he spends in different areas and would like <br />it to be re-evaluated. <br /> <br />MOTION by Buckbee, second by Helmbrecht to reclassify Ken Cook from temporary <br />appointment to regular full time status. And the time served be credited to satisfy the <br />requirements of the training period. Ken Cook's position is to be classified as non-exempt <br />with beginning hourly pay as designated in the payroll chart plan dated July 1, 1996. This <br />reclassification is to be effective July 8, 1996, to accommodate for payroll calculations. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />t <br /> <br />MOTION by Helmbrecht, second by Brenner to adopt the payroll chart dated July 1, <br />1996, allowing a 3% increase into the hourly wages of the positions of Building <br /> <br />CC7-10MM.WPS <br /> <br />5 <br />
