<br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> <br />tervil{e <br /> <br />MONTHL Y ENGINEER'S REPORT <br /> <br />'l.:,ttllt,shCt{llt,7 <br /> <br />For January 9, 2008 City Council Meeting <br /> <br />Italics = New information. <br />Normal = No change from last report. <br /> <br />1. Pheasant Marsh 3rd Addition (000616-03134-0). All construction work has been completed <br />and approved James R. Hill is currently printing final Record Plans. Once Bonestroo and the <br />City receive the final Record Plans a recommendation will be made by Bonestroo for Final <br />Acceptance of the project. <br /> <br />2. 21st AvenuelBackage Road (000616-05143-0). Retainage has been reduced and the contract <br />will remain open until the topsoil pile is removed. The Contractor finished spreading topsoil <br />and will seed in the spring. Once all work has been approved the project will be recommended <br />for Final Payment. <br /> <br />3. Old Mill Road Improvements (000616-06147-0). Our inspectors have compiled a project <br />punch list and will be meeting with the City to add any issues or items they wish to add to the <br />list. Once the final list is completed the Punch List will be sent to the Contractor with a request <br />of a schedule to complete the work. Punch list correction work is anticipated to be completed <br />in the Spring of 2008 along with the bituminous wear course. <br /> <br />4. Centerville Townoffice Park 2nd Addition (000616-06152-0). Our inspectors have <br />completed a project inspection and compiled a punch list for the Contractor. The Sanitary <br />Sewer needed immediate cleaning and the remaining items will be completed in the Spring of <br />2008. <br /> <br />5. Clearwater Creek Estates (Banzai Property) (000616-06154-0). All work is complete. Seed <br />germination will be evaluated in the spring prior to release of surety. <br /> <br />6. Hidden Spring Park (000616-07155-0). Corrective work to the rain garden and shoreline <br />will take place in the spring. <br /> <br />7. Downtown Overhead Power Relocation (000616-07156-0). The .south ROW of Heritage <br />Street has been staked. Negotiations with homeowners continue. <br /> <br />8. Comprehensive Plan (000616-07157-0). Drafting of the plan has begun. A meeting with the <br />City Council and Planning Commission will be held to review the draft plan upon its <br />completion. <br /> <br />9. 2009 Street and Utility Improvements (000616-07158-0). Survey crews have completed most <br />of the work needed to evaluate design alternatives on Mill.Road and Center Street. These <br />alternatives are being evaluated When the alternatives have been refined, cost estimates will <br />be completed <br /> <br />A second Open House is slatedfor February 21st to inform the public ofproject scope changes <br />which resulted from input received at the last meeting and the preliminary design work.
