<br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br />MONDAY, JUNE 9, 1997 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the City of Centerville held their <br />regularly scheduled Council meeting and a public hearing on June 9, 1997 at City Hall. Mayor <br />Wilharber called the public hearing to order at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br /> <br />Tom Wilharber, Mayor <br />Mary Jo Helmbrecht, Councilmember <br />Theresa Brenner, Councilmember <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Sanna Buckbee, Councilmember <br /> <br />STAFF/CONSULTANTS: Jim March, City Administrator <br />Ry-Chel Gaustad, City Clerk <br />Paul Palzer, Public Works Director/Building Official <br />David Nyberg, City Engineer <br /> <br />A public hearing was duly scheduled and called to order by Mayor Wilharber at 6:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Mr. March gave a brief overview of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and <br />suggested to reallocate the unused funds from the 1996 parks accessibility grant to the senior <br />housing project. Mr. March recommended approving resolution No. 97-09 CDBG. There was <br />no further discussion. <br /> <br />..... <br /> <br />MOTION by Councilmember Brenner to close the public hearing. Motion seconded by <br />CounciImember Helmbrecht. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Public hearing adjourned at 6:08 P.M. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: <br />May 28, 1997 Council Meeting Minutes <br />MOTION by Councilmember Brenner to approve the May 28, Council meeting minutes. Motion <br />seconded by Councilmember Helmbrecht. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PAYMENT OF CLAIMS: <br />The City of Centerville May 28 - 31 <br />MOTION by Councilmember Brenner to approve the May 28 through 31, receipts and <br />disbursements. Motion seconded by Councilmember Helmbrecht. Motion carried unanimously. <br />
