<br />Councilmember Powers replied Mr. Sorenson will make an advanced payment to the County after <br />the noise permit has been granted. <br /> <br />MOTION by Councilmember Helmbrecht, seconded by Councilmember Powers to approve the <br />noise permit contingent upon all items listed on Officer Gleasons memo (SEE EXHIBIT B) be <br />addressed and all fees are prepaid to Anoka County and Circle - Lex. Police Department prior to <br />the event. Further, the event will run from noon and end by 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, <br />1997, with the continued consensus of Councilmember Powers and Officer Gleason. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />3.2 Beer Permit - Reisdorfer July 14,1997 <br />MOTION by Councilmember Powers, seconded by Councilmember Helmbrecht to approve the <br />3.2 Beer Permit with the agreement in case of rain, the Reisdorfer family will be refunded the <br />$35.00 permit fee. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Metropolitan Council Vacancy <br />Mayor Wilharber reported a letter was received indicating a vacancy on the Metropolitan <br />Council. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />City Banner <br />Councilmember Helmbrecht suggested the City acquire a banner for the Fete des Lac parade <br />stating the City has been established for 140 years. Councilmember Helmbrecht suggested Staff <br />look into the costs for the banner. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Business Appreciation Meeting <br />Councilmember Brenner reported approximately 40 people attended the Business Appreciation <br />Dinner. Councilmember Brenner thanked Mayor Wilharber for coming and giving a good speech. <br />Mayor Wilharber commented everything went well and it was a very nice evening. <br /> <br />ADMINISTRA TORS REPORT: <br />Mr. March reported Senior Housing Day is Monday, June 9, 1997, at 10:30 a.m. <br /> <br />Mr. March reported the Bald Eagle Water Ski Club has expressed interest in putting in a ski ramp <br />in C enterville Lake. The Ski Club requested direction from the Council since Anoka County <br />requires an approval letter from the City. Mr. March was aware of one complaint from a Lino <br />Lakes resident about a fisherman who was allegedly chased off the lake. Mr. March explained the <br />organizations new president plans to take steps to ensure this will not happen in the future. <br />Mayor Wilharber suggested a Bald Eagle Water Ski Club representative attend the next Council <br />meeting. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. March reported the draft copy of the garbage contract is completed and a rough copy will be <br />available at the next Council meeting. Mr. March requested Council's approval to send the <br />contract out for proposals. <br /> <br />') <br />
