<br />Rockne Goertz - Clearwater Meadow - Grading and Correction notices <br />Mr. Nyberg explained Mr. Goertz requested the Council reconsider the Clearwater Meadows t <br />grading plan. Mr. Paul Palzer, Public Works Director/Building Official, was concerned with the <br />change in the drainage swale by Brian Drive. Mr. Nyberg explained Mr. Goertz had been <br />working with him on the drainage issue. Further, the drainage swale had to be changed since the <br />Eagle Pass grading plan was not completed prior to Clearwater Meadows grading plan approval. <br />Mr. Palzer commented when the revised grading plan was submitted, the City requested to change <br />the elevations. Currently, the two houses at Main Street are at 912.7/910 feet elevations but they <br />should be at 912 feet. The proposed grading plan is three-quarter foot higher than the original <br />grading plan. Mr. Palzer suggested the Council consider the house elevations remain consistent at <br />912 feet. <br /> <br />MOTION by Councilmember Buckbee, seconded by Councilmember Helmbrecht to table the <br />request for Clearwater Meadows grading plan and correction notices due to the absences of the <br />Developer at 8:00 p.m. and to have the Building Official withhold documents until further notice. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilmember Buckbee suggested staff check into the legalities to withhold documents. <br />Mayor Wilharber commented plans have to be adhered by and any changes must be approved <br />with the concurrence of the Council. <br /> <br />Consent to Assignment of Contract - (MSA I H.R. Green) <br />Mayor Wilharber commented he would like to meet with HR. Green Consulting Engineers, prior <br />to approving the contract. Councilmember Brenner suggested staff to check into any change in <br />the level of liability with the new contract. <br /> <br />t <br /> <br />Councilmember Powers arrived at approximately 8:20 p.m. <br /> <br />Senses Water Read System Update <br />Mr. Ed Wiegert from WaterPro briefed the Council on the Meter Interface Unit (MID) and the <br />Phonread system. Mr. Wiegert commented Senses Technologies has experienced a 2 to 3 percent <br />price increase over the last two years. Mr. Wiegert mentioned that in less than twenty years the <br />City will see a profit with the use of the Senses Water Read System. Additionally, WaterPro <br />estimates a $15.00 savings per reading. Mr. March mentioned the City is expected to reach <br />building capacity at 1,700 households. Of the projected households, an expected one out of <br />twenty households will experience an owner turnover annually. Also, with the projected 350 new <br />homes within the next two to three years, Mr. March felt the City will see an immediate benefit. <br />However, Mr. March suggested postponing a decision until the next meeting so Staff can gather <br />additional information. The Council elected to table the Senses Water Read System until the <br />Monday, June 9, 1997, meeting. <br /> <br />Waterworks Beach Club - Noise Permit <br />Mr. Ken Sorenson, Owner of Waterworks Beach Club, commented he mailed out the notices to <br />the required residents and he has been working with the County to coordinate parking for the <br />event.
