<br />~ <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber mentioned Police Officer Joel Heckman had a Ukraine Chief of Police Chief <br />visit, he spoke no English but had an interpreter. <br /> <br />The Police Department signed an agreement with the Police Officers which is good for two years, <br />however, the contract expired in December 1996. <br /> <br />EDC- <br />Councilmember Brenner explained Tim Rehbine is spear heading the wall building project for the <br />City Sign. <br /> <br />Councilmember Brenner reported Business appreciation day is set for May 20, 1997 at 5:00 p.m. <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATORS REPORT: <br />Mr. March explained the city has two requests for over weight permits. One is the Centennial <br />Little league. They are redoing the ball fields and need five loads of ag-lime and two loads to the <br />other park. The second request is a builder who wishes to retrieve a garbage dumpster. Mr. <br />March reported Paul nor Dave had a problem with issuing the permits. <br /> <br />MOTION by Councilmember Brenner, seconded by Councilmember Helmbrecht to approve the <br />Over Weight Permits.
