He said the cable <br />revenue funds can be used for microphones, tables, chairs etcetera. Councilmember Brenner <br />suggested looking into purchasing an additional camera for map close-ups. Mayor Wilharber <br />commented, the City of Blaine has a specific camera that puts maps on the air which is nice for <br />the viewing.audience. Councilmember Buckbee commented Jim March was looking into <br />purchasing a table and chairs. <br /> <br />The newsletter - Ms. Gaustad commented Thursday, April 3, is the last date for articles to be <br />submitted for the spring newsletter. Councilmember Brenner suggested putting the newsletter on <br />future agendas. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Police Commission Meeting - Councilmember Helmbrecht was unable to attend due to the <br />weather conditions. <br /> <br />Lions Club International - Mayor Wilharber commented he had spoke at the Lions meeting. <br />Mayor Wilharber reported the Lions suggested building a community center in Centerville. <br /> <br />The Lions voiced interest in working together with the City, EDC and the Police Department on <br />the "Welcome Wagon" packets. <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />'- <br />Mayor Wilharber relayed a thank you from the Lions Club to the Council for their.help and input. <br />Further, the Lions Club is interested in helping with Centerville Senior Housing. <br /> <br />MOTION by Councilmember Powers-Rasmussen, seconded by Councilmember Helmbrecht to <br />adjourn the March 26, 1997, council meeting.
