<br />~ <br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br />JANUARY 22, 1997 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the City of Centerville held <br />their regularly scheduled council meeting on January 22, 1997, at City Hall. Mayor Tom <br />Wilharber called the council meeting to order at 6:00 PM. <br /> <br />PRESENT: Tom Wilharber <br />Sanna Buckbee <br /> <br />Mary Jo Helmbrecht <br />Theresa Brenner <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Laura Powers-Rasmussen <br /> <br />STAFF/CONSULTANTS: Jim March Ry-Chel Gaustad <br />David Nyberg <br /> <br />F.-\ YMENT OF CLAIl\1S: <br /> <br />C;ry ofCenterville January 9 - 22, 1997 <br />.l\IOTION by Helmbrecht, seconded by Brenner to approve the receipts and <br />disbursements of January 9 - 22. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Centennial Fire District January 16, 1997 - <br />:MOTION by Buckbee, seconded by Brenner to approve Centennial Fire Districts <br />disbursements. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Pay Estimate #1 Main Street- <br />1\ yberg commented the payment on sodding issues still has adequate retainage available. <br />Edmbrecht questioned a big hole on the south side of Main Street across from her home <br />and suggested Nyberg look into it this spring. <br /> <br />MOTION by Helmbrecht, seconded by Brenner to pay estimate #1 for Main Street. <br />l\fotion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: <br /> <br />MOTION by Helmbrecht, seconded by Brenner to approve the January 8, 1997, minutes <br />with corrections.
