Mr. Nyberg <br />replied Lino Lakes plans to construct 800 feet on 21st Avenue south of Main Street. Mayor <br />Wilharber questioned if Gerald Rehbein petitioned for this improvement. Mr. Nyberg understood <br />Mr. Rehbein petitioned for the road but he was unsure what type of deal Mr. Rehbein negotiated <br />with Lino Lakes. Mayor Wilharber commented it may be difficult for the City to assess the <br />present business owners for the road construction. Mr. Nyberg explained Cities assess 20 - 25 <br />percent of the road construction cost. Mayor Wilharber suggested Centerville and Lino Lakes <br />request feedback from Anoka County. <br /> <br />Lakeland Hills Final Development Contract <br />Mr. March reviewed the revisions to the Lakeland Hills final development contract. Mr. March <br />reported Mr. Palzer and Mr. Nyberg reviewed the contract and were satisfied. In addition, Mr. <br />March noted a clean copy will be submitted to the City Attorney. <br /> <br />MOTION by Councilmember Helmbrecht to approve the developers agreement with noted <br />changes contingent upon the Attorneys approval. Motion seconded by Councilmember Brenner. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Amendment to Ordinance #45 <br />Mr. March briefed the Council on an amendment to Ordinance #45. Specifically, the ordinance <br />addresses the implementation of the new water meter devices. Mr. March noted the amendment <br />is too minor to bring before the Planning and Zoning Commission for comment, but he will <br />mention the issue at their next meeting. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Consideration of 1998 Appointments <br />Councilmember Helmbrecht suggested the City research bids from other newspapers, such as, <br />Blaine Spring Lake Park, Peach, and Forest Lake Times. <br /> <br />The Council elected to discuss 1998 appointments when the full Council is present. <br /> <br />Consideration of 1998 Fee Schedule <br />Mr. March and Mr. Palzer suggested leaving RED's at $1,750. Mayor Wilharber suggested <br />including the water meter fee. <br /> <br />Final Approval of 1998 Licenses <br />MOTION by Councilmember Helmbrecht to approve the 1998 license renewals. Motion <br />seconded by Councilmember Brenner. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />1998 Goals and Objectives <br />Mayor Wilharber requested Council and Staff submit 1998 goals and objectives by the next <br />Council meeting. <br />
