<br />City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />December 26, 2007 <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson reported sending notices for sidewalk shoveling and <br />would continue to do this. He stated the City might take more aggressive steps. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated that a work session scheduled for goal setting <br />could be set or he could review last year's goals and report back to Council on the <br />status of each. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra stated she would like to have a meeting with staff the end of January <br />or first part of February 2008 to discuss goals, issues, and concerns. She stated <br />she would also like to hold a joint meeting with all committees and commissions. <br /> <br />2. NMTC Meeting Talking Points <br /> <br />Councilmember Lakso provided information on the last North Metro <br />Telecommunications Commission meeting. She commented on the following <br />items: <br /> <br />· The FCC ruling concerning local cable franchising was effective <br />December 24, 2007. She stated this order has been appealed. <br />· The NMTC approved the increase of Comcast late fees. <br />· The NMTC approved a 3 percent cost of living adjustment for staff, <br />effective 2008. <br />· The NMTC moved the meeting time from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the <br />third Wednesday of the month. <br />· Joel Knutson, Master Controller, is leaving to further his education. <br /> <br />3.
