June 22, 2007

To: Dallas Larson
Re: Monthly review of Centerville activity

Dallas,

This report is for the month of June. I am working day shift on June 25, so I do
not plan on attending the council meeting.

There were no major incidents reported during the month of June. During our
tobacco compliance checks, there were two violations where clerks sold cigarettes to the
minor. There was a recovered stolen vehicle in the parking lot of 8t Gen's Church. The
incident appeared to be isolated, and more than likely dumped by someone passing
through, as there was no other criminal activity reported that night. Officers arrested a
male from the 7100 block of mill rd for indecent exposure and disorderly conduct. There
was a theft of a TV from a house under construction. The door appeared to have been
kicked open. There were no other thefts reported at that time, and there are no suspects at
this time.

In Centerville, there were two DUI arrests made in June. There were 163 vehicle
stopped for traffic violations, and 49 occupants were cited for miscellaneous violations.
The officers continued speed enforcement on Mill Rd, and no citations were issued.

The CSO's continued to be extremely productive in ordinance enforcement. Their
efforts assisted in keeping the quality of life higher in the city of Centerville. Several
citations had been written for miscellaneous ordinance violations.

Officer Carlson and I were assigned to concentrate on the drug activity in our
cities as well as the surrounding areas. Officers teamed up with Lino Lakes Police and
were responsible for at least 11 felony arrests over the last month. The project is still in
its early stages, and our hope is to deter drug activity away from the people in our
communities. I realize Centerville is not necessarily a hotbed for drug activity, but I am
aware of residents who are associated with drug activity. Our effort is the attempt at
trying to get rid of the people who are supplying those residents with narcotics.

Any questions or concerns, please contact me 763-235-2570

Sgt Aldrich # 104
