<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of <br />the City of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday <br />February 13, 1980 in City Hall. Mayor Prachar called the meeting <br />to order at 7:00 pm. Present were: Burque, L'Allier, Laska and <br />Savela. <br /> <br />Fran Burque made a motion to accept the minutes of the January <br />23, 1980 meeting, Floyd Laska seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Gary Savela made a motion to approve the application from <br />Northwestern Bell Telephone to construct, and thereafter <br />maintain buried telephone plant on Peltier Lake Drive, Center- <br />ville Road and Peltier Drive, Leon L'Allier seconded it, motion <br />carried. Clerk will send a copy of application to City Engineer <br />for his comments. <br /> <br />Mayor read letter from William LaLonde, 1687 Westview Street, <br />on items he thinks are city responsibilities. Clerk is to <br />reply and advise Mr. LaLonde to appear before council if he is <br />not satisfied with reply. <br /> <br />Mr. & Mrs. Ayde of Lake Sanitation and their attorney appeared <br />before council advising they are preparing a contract for the <br />city's acceptance. Contract should be received by next meeting <br />for review. <br /> <br />Mr. Joel Holstad of Holstad and Associates appeared before <br />council explaining the mini and maxi audit inspections and <br />the cost involved. Council consensus was to have Holstad and <br />Associates submit a proposal. <br /> <br />Clerk advised council of situation at 7124 Progress Road <br />with reference to debris in yard and the special use permits <br />which have not been picked up as of this date on the two cars <br />housed on the property. <br /> <br />Gary Savela made a motion to appoint the following people to <br />the Park & Recreation Committee: Jerry Determan, Marcel Rivard, <br />Floyd Kruger, Don Fitch and Larry Koch, Fran Burque seconded <br />it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Variance request of Neil Petrowske of 7105 20th Avenue was <br />presented to council. Request is for adding a 17 x 100 foot <br />addition to PLAT 27823, PARC~L 0060. P & Z has recommended <br />granting variance. Gary Savela made a motion to grant variance <br />for above on Ordinance #15, Section 6, Lot Standards (10), <br />Floyd Laska seconded, motion carried with Leon L'Allier voting <br />nay. Reason for variance being to bring PARC~L 0060 dimensions <br />to 15,000 square feet. <br /> <br />Clerk is to request an appearance from a representative of the <br />Minnesota Project at our next meeting. <br /> <br />Gary made a motion to pay bills, according to sheet attached, <br />Floyd Laska seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Gary made a motion to adjourn meeting, Leon L'Allier seconded <br />it, motion carried.
