<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the <br />City of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, <br />October 22, 1980 in the City Hall. Acting mayor Savela called <br />the meeting to order at 8:10 pm. ~resent were: L'Allier, Laska, <br />and Murray. Absent: Burque. <br /> <br />Motion by L'Allier, second by Laska to accept minutes of the <br />October 8 meeting, motion carried. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: Mr. Bruce Ramie of 1724 Sorel Street <br />appeared before council requesting repair to street at end of <br />his driveway, due to the street restoration. The street was <br />lowered and does not meet his driveway as it did in the past. <br />Clerk was instructed to have Engineer look at problem and report <br />to council. <br /> <br />Clerk is to check with Northwestern Bell Telephone to find out <br />what they are doing on Main Street from Shad Avenue to 20th. <br /> <br />County representatives will be meeting with Floyd Laska on <br />Thursday morning, the 2Jrd to discuss the Mound Trail situation. <br /> <br />Discussion held on Floyd checking with Hal Leibel to store <br />Studebaker fire truck for winter months and Leon to check with <br />Jerry Sundberg advising him of the situation. If Hal Leibel <br />would store Studebaker, the snow plow truck could be housed <br />in the city garage. <br /> <br />The council meetings will now commence at 7:00 pm beginning <br />with the November 12th meeting. <br /> <br />Clerk was instructed to have ~ngineer check all the driveway <br />culverts in ~eterson's Old Homestead Addition and also Mill <br />Road by the superette construction because of heavy truck <br />damage to street. <br /> <br />Motion by Laska, second by Murray to adjourn meeting, motion <br />carried.
