<br />page two - City Council <br />meeting minutes <br />September 24, 1980 <br /> <br />Fire Chief advised Ford Tank Truck had been purchased from <br />Lanesboro Rural Fire Department, 1951 Ford fire truck would <br />be sold on Saturday, September 27th to_ the City of New Munich <br />and advised council inspection by the tire Marshal's office <br />and Centerville ~uilding Inspector had been made last week <br />on 7124 Progress Road. <br /> <br />Council aavised maintenance man to have Apitz Garage tune <br />up city truck before winter and purchase oil for truck. <br /> <br />Mr. Gerald Rehbein appeared before council requesting <br />issuance of building permits for Rehbein ~states. After <br />considerable discussion, council asked Engineer to bring <br />them up to date on the punchlist of items to be done in <br />development before approval. Motion by L'Allier, second <br />by Laska to allow building permits issued for Rehbein Estates <br />lots for the next forty (40) days at which time the ~ngineer <br />will advise council on completion of items in question and <br />council will then consider matter further. <br /> <br />Mr. Rehbein also stated problem he has with his sewer line <br />at his home on Brian Drive. The problem found was with the <br />city connection and Mr. Rehbein wishes to be reimbursed for <br />damages to his lawn. Walt Williams was instructed to advise <br />City by letter that in his opinion, there was back fall in the <br />line and $400. would be the maximum amount paid by Gity to <br />Mr. Rehbein to repair his damaged lawn. <br /> <br />Motion by Murray, second by L'Allier to adjourn, motion <br />carried.
