<br />City Council meeting minutes <br />June 25, 1980 - page two <br /> <br />Motion by Laska, second by L'Allier to have city garden tractor <br />checked out and repaired, motion carried. <br /> <br />Clerk informed council City Planner Bill Short has suggested <br />we pass a Resolution requesting a six month extension on <br />submission of our Comprehensive City Plan to the Metropolitan <br />Council. Motion by Savela, second by Murray to adopt the <br />following Resolution: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WH~R~AS, the City of Centerville has been preparing their <br />Comprehensive City Plan, and <br /> <br />WH~R~AS, the City of Centerville needs somewhere less than <br />six months for submission of the Comprehensive Plan, <br /> <br />NOW, THnREFOR~, B~ IT R~SOLV~D that the City of Centerville <br />request the Metropolitan Council for an extension of up to <br />six months from the July 1st submission date of their <br />Comprehensive City Plan. <br /> <br />~ <br />"-- h~-7 ("1". · '9 ... . \~<'.--1- J1---<-<- C/ <br />Mayor (/ <br /> <br />( <br /> <br /> <br />motion carried. Copy of letter is attached to and <br />made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />City office will be closed July )rd and 4th, 1980. <br /> <br />Council consensus to ask Al L'Allier if he is interested in <br />cutting weeds along the city right of way. <br /> <br />Mrs. Richard Robischon of 1832 Main Street and several other <br />Main Street residents appeared before council to request a <br />reduction in the speed limit on Main Street east of Centerville <br />to 20th Avenue. Consensus of council to adopt the following <br />Resolution for submission to Anoka County for approval: <br />
