<br />City Council meeting minutes <br />April -, 1980 - <br />page two <br /> <br />Discussion held on the City of Centerville Comprehensive <br />Plan. 1v1otion by Burque, second by L'Allier to have Wir. <br />Short, City Planner, include the five-year development <br />plan for the Park in the Comprehensive Plan before it is <br />submitted for ~eview by County, School District, Lino <br />Lake s and subsequently iV1n/Do t and iv1e tropoli tan Co uncil , <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Savela, second by Burque to rii:~h~1-it~.('-r <br />Centerville Comprehensive Plan as presented to the April <br />1st meeting of Planning and 60ning members with inclusion <br />of the 5-year development plan for the park, motion carried. <br /> <br />Clerk is to check with Lake Sanitation on their schedule <br />of pick-up at 7124 Progress Road and whether their account <br />is up to date. <br /> <br />Matter of resurfacing parking lot is tabled until April <br />2Jrd meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Prachar proclaimed Saturday, April 26 as Clean-Up <br />Day in Centerville. Property owners are hereby notified <br />that Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and vVebelos will be cleaning <br />up debris in City on this date and they should assist <br />by cleaning up their own property in order to make the <br />day successful. <br /> <br />Mr. Bill LaLonde appeared before council with reference <br />to his letter of February 7, 1980 concerning items he <br />wanted remedied. <br /> <br />f./lr. Bob LaMotte appeared before council for discussion <br />with attorney and council on the 10 acre parcel the .City <br />is acquiring from Mrs. LaMotte. The street restoration <br />assessment was discussed which is under a Green Acre <br />deferment. Mrs. LaMotte will bring the assessment up to <br />date as part of the purchase agreement and it will then be <br />assumed by the City. Attorney Hawkins will draw up the <br />purchase agreement for (1) $20,000. for 10 acre parcel; <br />(2) $7,000. down payment; (3) split cost of survey and <br />abstract search. Purchase will be made on a contract for <br />deed at 10% interest for 5 years with balance in equal <br />payments payable August 1st of each year. A pre-payment <br />clause will also be included in contract. <br /> <br />Police Chief appeared before council for discussion on <br />enforcing our curfew and loitering ordinances in the City. <br /> <br />Motion by L'Allier, second by Burque, to pay disbursements <br />according to sheet attached, motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Burque, second by Laska to adjourn, motion carried. <br />Meeting adjourned at 10:20 pm. <br /> <br /> <br />s . f.Ully subJitted, <br />A<<-~'~ <br />rachar, Clerk <br />
