<br />page two - City Council <br />meeting minutes - <br />March 26, 1980 <br /> <br />Fire Chief Sundberg presented the new fire hall addition <br />proposals. After a lengthy discussion, a motion was made by <br />L'Allier and second by Burque that the clerk arrange for <br />publication of notices for a referendum to expend $60,000. <br />for a new fire hall addition. An additional $15,000. will be <br />used from the Fire Department ~quipment Purchase Fund, making <br />a total of $75,000. available for new hall construction. Roll <br />call was taken on motion; Savela, Burque, Laska, L'Allier, aye; <br />Prachar, nay. <br /> <br />Motion by L'Allier to adopt R~SOLUTION CALLING ~L~CTION, <br />second by Burque, motion carried. Resolution is attached to <br />and made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />An informational meeting will be held on April 17, 1980 at <br />7:00 pm in the City Hall for fire department members to present <br />their position concerning this proposal to the citizens. <br /> <br />City Council requests the clerk to send a letter to the City <br />Administrator and Council of Lino Lakes advising them of infor- <br />mational meeting and request their presence at same. <br /> <br />Motion by Savela, second by L'Allier to adjourn meeting, motion <br />carried.
