<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of <br />the City of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, <br />March 25, 1981 in City Hall. Mayor Savela called the meeting <br />to order at 7:00 pm. Present were: L'Allier, Laska, Murray, <br />Wilharber and City ~ngineer Williams. <br /> <br />Motion by L'Allier, second by Wilharber to accept the minutes <br />of the March 11, 1981 meeting, motion carried. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: The tennis courts are open, they <br />need to be flushed and washed. Park committee advised they <br />will handle this with the fire department. <br /> <br />Harvey Cartier recommended the city sewers be flushed three <br />times a year. No action taken. <br /> <br />Considerable discussion by Gardner, Engineer Williams, citizen <br />Al L'Allier and council members followed on the preliminary <br />plat of GARDN~R ~STAT~S. Motion by Wilharber that the plat <br />approval be denied because there is still not a permanent <br />easement on the northeast corner of the plat, second by <br />Murray; roll call taken: Wilharber, aye; Murray, aye; Laska, <br />nay; L'Allier, nay; Savela, aye, motion carried. <br /> <br />Discussion of the fire contract with Lino Lakes. Chief ~nglund <br />discussed language changes recommended by Lino Lakes. A <br />special meeting will be held in Lino Lakes on April 6, at <br />which time Chief ~nglund will again handle the fire contract <br />with suggested language changes. <br /> <br />Laska contacted Russ Almendinger concerning complaints about <br />Almendinger's barn. Mr. Almendinger will contact the fire <br />department about burning it down. <br /> <br />Discussion on the road conditions. Wilharber recommended <br />the Clerk contact the attorney and have him contact J.~orthern <br />Asphalt about the conditions of the roads. <br /> <br />Park Chairman Kru~er reported that since we have been notified <br />that we will recelve the grant for the park, they hope to move <br />promptly on the plan. He requested the clerk to fill out the <br />application for 1982 park and outdoor recreation grant. <br /> <br />Motion by L'Allier, second by Laska to support the Anoka County <br />Commissioners on their request to keep the same amount of <br />commissioners, motion carried. <br /> <br />Council discussed the Rehbein project grading. No action taken. <br /> <br />Discussion on the sewer in the park bathhouse.
