<br />page three - City Council <br />meeting minutes <br />March 11, 1981 <br /> <br />second by Murray to deny approval of GARDN~R nSTAT~S <br />preliminary plat and recommend the plat be sent back to <br />p & Z for further study concerning the following items: <br /> <br />1. The eight corner lots are undersized according to <br />our city ordinance, <br />2. Thirteen acres of the plat are in an unsewered area, <br />3. There is a need for a permanent easement from the <br />northeast corner of plat approximately 60' east <br />to the existing ditch on the Howard/Robert Houle <br />property <br />roll call taken: Wilharber, aye; Murray, aye; Laska, <br />aye; L'Allier, nay; Savela, aye, motion carried. <br /> <br />Letter from Metropolitan Council concerning our city <br />comprehensive plan was discussed. Letter stated several <br />specific items required before review by the Metropolitan <br />Council. Clerk will send copy of letter to City Planner <br />for his views and between them work out the items in <br />question. <br /> <br />Report from Park Committee Chairman Kruger as follows: <br />1. ~ngineer to check on location of stakes on the city <br />park property. <br />2. Whether Watershed approval is needed in order to do <br />grading in the park. <br />3. Park committee believes alot of the work to be done <br />on the property could be on a voluntary basis. <br />4. Chairman stated several things the committee believes <br />can be done in the park during the course of this year. <br /> <br />Mrs. Burleigh Hale of 1764 Main Street appeared before <br />council with concern about kids smoking in the old barn <br />located east of their home. She would like the owner <br />notified of this and situation resolved. Laska will <br />speak to owner, Russell Almendinger about the problem. <br /> <br />Mr. ~ugene Vveglei tner appeared ~ore council with questions <br />on zoning of property he owns on 1V1ain Street and Mill Road. <br /> <br />Motion by Murray, second by L'Allier to pay current bills, <br />motion carried. Copy of receipts and disbursements is <br />attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by L'Allier to adjourn, motion <br />carried.
