<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of Centerville <br />held their regular meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1981 in City Hall. <br />MAYOR Savela called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Present were: <br />L'Allier, Laska, Murray and Wilharber. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by L'Allier to accept minutes of Oct. 28 <br />meeting. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Petitions and Complaints: None. <br /> <br />Report by Laska pertaining to chemicals for the lift s4ation was tabled. <br /> <br />Discussion held on City Ordinances. Planning and Zoning will be advised <br />of a meeting to be held on Nov. 19, 1981 at 8:00 PM. <br /> <br />Laska advised that park work done by Rehbein should be completed Sat. <br />or Mon. He suggested asking Dan Tourville if he would go over the <br />park with a spring tooth before they seed. The cost was estimated at <br />$100.00 or less. Council agreed. The seed for park is to be purchased <br />from Peterson Feed Co. The council agreed to buy 800 pd. @70i per pd. <br />Totalling $560.00. <br /> <br />Discussion held on the light pole which was to be put in by Rehbein in <br />Rehbein Estates. Engineer Williams will look into this. Council <br />discussed Rehbeins past due bill of $446.88. Council suggests not <br />paying final payment on park until this is paid. <br /> <br />Granger appeared before council with a proposal to sell some unsewered <br />acreage to Larry Koch to obtain acreage that is sewered. Motion by <br />Laska, second by L'Allier to establish an easement for a holding pond, <br />any cost incurred for changing comprehensive plans will be paid by <br />Granger. This is all contingent on Metro Council approval. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Discussion held on revocation of Twin Lakes liquor license. Council <br />decided not to revoke the license because it expires on Dec. 31, 1981, <br />and there would not be enough time. Twin Lakes Pavilion appears to be <br />sold. The new owners, Ronald G. and Alberta Gross introduced themselves. <br />They appeared with realtor Judy Helin from North-Northeast Realty Co. <br />The new purchasers will submit a liquor license application to be handled <br />by the council at the Nov. 25 meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Laska to approve payment of bills. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Fire Chief England appeared before the council to discuss changes in <br />the proposed fire agreement with Lino. Changes to be made by clerk and <br />sent to Lino. Changes are: 1-~. delete "or who would pay for what." <br />8.- Strike out part of sentence, let it read: Centerville firemen to <br />respond to all calls. <br /> <br />Motion by Laska, second by Wilharber to enter into Joint Cooperation <br />agreement. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Murray to enter into Capital City <br />Mutual Aid Association Of Suburban Fire Fighters. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Laska, second by Wilharber to adjourn meeting.
