<br />IT~MS TO BE ADDR~SSnD IN A PROPOSAL <br /> <br />1. Describe the general plan for how the proposed service would <br />be provided. Identify both an overall organizational struction <br />for reporting responsibility and also the chain of command <br />structured to be in effect for emergency calls. <br /> <br />Centerville will outfit and administrate a satellite <br />station in Lino Lakes, provided by Lino Lakes, and <br />manned by Lino Lakes residents with organization as <br />follows: <br /> <br />A. Administration: <br />Centerville will provide a chief and four assistant <br />chiefs (two from Centerville and two from Lino Lakes). <br />These people will report directly to the Centerville <br />City Council. <br /> <br />B. nquipment: <br />Class A midi pumper, turn out gear, and alerting <br />monitors. This is the minimum amount of gear that <br />would be required and cost to be determined by the <br />contract or who would pay for what. <br /> <br />2. Provide suggested locations for each of the response centers <br />that house vehlcles used to provide the proposed service. <br /> <br />The main station would be the present Centerville location, <br />the sub station in the area of J5W and Lake Drive. <br /> <br />3. Describe in general terms each vehicle to be located within <br />Lino Lakes and identify its equipment (such as age of vehicle, <br />pumping capacity, gross vehicle weight, list of planned equipment <br />for firefighting, list of planned equipment for rescue). <br /> <br />One 1982 Class A Midipumper with a 750 GPM pump, 500 gallon <br />tank, 25,500 GVW, equlpped as required by state law. <br />Protective breathing apparatus and resuscitator. <br /> <br />4. Identify by means of either number of vehicle stalls or <br />area in square feet what would be needed to house equipment at <br />each of the recommended response centers. <br />900 square feet for one vehicle and expansion. <br /> <br />5. State whose responsibility it would be to provide such a <br />housing facility and also what party or parties would pay for <br />those facilities. <br /> <br />Lino Lakes is to provide the vehicle housing and costs. <br /> <br />6. Define intended staffing level of personnel and indicate the <br />extent to which those personnel would be equipped with personal <br />protective gear and alarm alerting equipment. <br /> <br />The staffing at the substation is to be by Lino Lakes <br />residents (15) to be fully equipped with turnout gear <br />and personal alerting monitors. Centerville to maintain <br />its staff of JJ members at the main station. <br />
