<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council <br />of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting on <br />Wednesday, May 13, 1981 in the City Hall. Mayor Savela <br />called the meeting to order at 8:00 PM. Present were: <br />L'Allier, Laska, Murray and Wilharber. <br /> <br />Motion by L'Allier, second by Laska to approve minutes <br />of April 22, 1981 meeting, motion carried. <br /> <br />Agenda altered and Item #1 under NEW BUSIN~SS was considered, <br />possibility of sewer service for proposed bath house on <br />Centerville Lake for the Chain of Lakes Park Reserve. Mayor <br />Savela advised council on County's review of the proposal. <br />Mr. Roger Mohror of the St. Paul Waterworks was in attendance <br />at meeting and gave the Water Department's opinion on the <br />proposal. Attorney Hawkins advised on the procedure for <br />requesting feasibility study on project seeing that the <br />County, City of Centerville and City of Lino Lakes will be <br />involved. <br /> <br />P~TITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: debris on easement between 7164 <br />and 7178 Mill Road, fill in ditch in front of 7178 Mill <br />Road, patching to be done in front of 7184 Mill Xoad, car <br />on street in front of 7184 Mill Road should be moved, Shad <br />Avenue in Rehbein ~states should be checked out because <br />it is spongy, police check out ballfield behind Centerville <br />Elementary School for juveniles doing damage and also patrol <br />city streets more often. <br /> <br />Discussion on purchasing NO PARKING ANYTIME signs on city <br />streets as per Engineer recommendations on placement. Motion <br />by L'Allier, second by Laska to purchase the NO PARKING <br />ANYTIM~ signs and posts needed as per City ~ngineer recommen- <br />dations, motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Laska, second by Wilharber to consider and accept <br />the Supplement to the City of Centerville Comprehensive <br />Land Use Plan, motion carried. <br /> <br />The joint and cooperative agreement on Cable TV was tabled <br />until future meeting. <br /> <br />Chairman Charles Baumann of Planning and Zoning Board advised <br />council on the outcome of the public hearing held on the <br />request for rezoning the following portion of Centerville: <br /> <br />"The East 340 feet of the South 845 feet of the West ~ <br />of the NE% of the N~%, Section 23, Township 31, Range <br />22, a total of 6.59 acres" <br /> <br />from commercial to light industrial. The minutes of the <br />P & Z hearing in question were presented to council. Dis- <br />cussion of council on P & Z recommendations was held. <br />
