<br /> <br />page two - City Council <br />meeting minutes <br />May I), 1981 <br /> <br />Motion by Laska, second by Murray to concur with P & Z <br />recommendation that property in question remain in commercial <br />zoned classification and not rezone it industrial because <br />it is inconsistent with the City Comprehensive Plan, roll <br />call: Laska, aye; Murray, aye; L'Allier, aye; Wilharber, aye; <br />Savela, aye, motion carried. <br /> <br />Floyd Kruger, chairman of Parks and Recreation reported on <br />status of committee's direction on city park proposal. <br />Committee will work with Engineer on drawing up proposal <br />for bids on project. <br /> <br />Item #4-N~W BUSIN~SS-Appearance of Mr. Rudy Tschida - he was <br />not in attendance at this time. <br /> <br />Letters from Northern Asphalt and City Engineer on Street <br />Improvement #1 was discussed. Council consensus was to <br />walk streets in City themselves and report to Engineer on <br />findings. <br /> <br />Fire Chief ~nglund reported on inspection made at 7124 Progress <br />Road. <br /> <br />Motion by L'Allier, second by Laska to appoint Michael Lynch, <br />7245 Mill Road and Kathy Welk of 7219 Mill ~oad to serve <br />on the Planning and Zoning Board, effective immediately, <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />Clerk read correspondence from Rice Creek watershed. Council <br />will check into this on Saturday when they walk the city <br />streets. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber to change meeting time to 7:00 pm, no <br />second, withdrew motion. <br /> <br />Motion by Laska, second by Wilharber to pay current dis- <br />bursements, motion carried. Copy of receipts and disburse- <br />ments is attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by L'Allier to adjourn meeting, <br />motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 10:10 pm. <br /> <br />
