<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of <br />the City of Centerville held a public hearing on enacting <br />a moratorium ordinance in the City. Mayor Savela called the <br />hearing to order at 7:00 pm. Present were: L'Allier, Laska, <br />Murray and Wilharber. <br /> <br />Clerk read the public hearing notice which was published in <br />the official paper. Copy of notice is on file in the office <br />of the clerk. <br /> <br />Discussion held on time frame for enactment of ordinance. <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Murray to enact a moratorium <br />ordinance to prohibit the rezoning or any subdivision of <br />property for a period of one year excluding industrial <br />zoned property in the City of Centerville, roll call: <br />Wilharber, aye; Murray, aye; L'Allier, nay; Laska, nay; <br />Savela, aye, motion failed for lack of four-fifths approval. <br /> <br />Motion by L'Allier, second by Wilharber, to enact a moratorium <br />ordinance to prohibit the rezoning or any subdivision of <br />property for a period of six months excluding industrial zoned <br />property in the City of Centerville, roll call: L'Allier, <br />aye; Wilharber, aye; Laska, nay; Murray, aye; Savela, aye; <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />Ordinance will be presented to Council, Wednesday, May 27th <br />at their regular meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by L'Allier to adjourn hearing, <br />motion carried.
