<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of <br />the City of Centerville held their regular meeting on February <br />17, 1982 in City Hall. Mayor Savela called the meeting to <br />order at 7:00 pm.. Present were: L'Allier, Murray and Wilharber. <br />Absent: Laska - he arrived 20 minutes later. Motion by <br />L'Allier, second by Murray to approve minutes of January 27, <br />1982 meeting, motion carried. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: Complaint was voiced concerning <br />W & G Rehbein Bros. spreading sludge on their property at <br />20th and Main Street. Clerk is to request a representative <br />from PCA to attend the March 10th council meeting to discuss <br />the City's role in situations similar to the above; fire chief <br />advised council of department's loss of gloves during the period <br />February 3 - 11. <br /> <br />A new form of monthly report from Lino Lakes Police Department <br />was presented to council for review. <br /> <br />The 1982 Police Contract between Lino Lakes and Centerville <br />was presented for approval. Motion by Murray, second by <br />Wilharber to approve 1982 Police Contract as submitted at a <br />cost of $40,152.00 per year, motion carried. The following <br />are the appointed Police Officers for Centerville: <br /> <br />Chief Marvin B. Myhre <br />Sgt. Salvatore J. Costa <br />Ptl. Kenneth O. Kjer <br />Ptl. Timothy J. ConRoy <br />Officer Joseph W. LeMire <br />Officer Robert C. Elsenpeter <br />Officer Darrell L. Shaw <br /> <br />Ordinance #35, INTERIM ORDINANC~, etc., was discussed by council. <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Murray to amend S~CTION 4 - SCOPE <br />OF CONTROL, motion carried. <br /> <br />SECTION 4 - SCOP~ OF CONTROL is amended to read: <br />"Except as hereinafter provided in this ordinance, during the <br />period of November 27, 1981 through May 27, 1982: <br />The Planning Commission of the City or the City Council <br />shall grant any preliminary 9r final approval to a <br />subdivision plat, site plan, rezoning, or other develop- <br />ment map or application, or unless such subdivision <br />plat, site plan, or rezoning has received preliminary <br />approval of the City Council prior to May 13, 1981. <br />The aforementioned restriction shall not apply to any <br />property within the industrial zoning classification <br />within the City of Centerville." <br /> <br />SECTION 7. ~ffective Date <br />This ordinance shall take effect upon adoption and publication <br />as required by law. <br /> <br />Passed this 17th day of February, 1982. <br />
