<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council <br />of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, <br />September 22, 1982 in City Hall. Mayor Savela called <br />the meeting to order at 8:00 PM. Present were: L'Allier, <br />Laska, Murray and Wilharber. Motion by Wilharber, second <br />by Laska to approve minutes of September 8, 1982 meeting, <br />motion carried. Motion by L'Allier, second by Wilharber, <br />to approve minutes of Revenue Sharing hearing, motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: None <br /> <br />Information on the monies available from the Metropolitan <br />Council on land planning grants was discussed and clerk <br />was instructed to apply for same. <br /> <br />#2 under Old Business was tabled until next meeting. <br /> <br />#3 under Old Business - Attorney Hawkins is currently <br />working up ordinance for both Lino Lakes and Centerville <br />on sewer sludge spreading in communities. <br /> <br />Messrs. Holmen and O'Brien were in attendance and gave <br />brief report on 1982 summer recreation activities in <br />District #12. <br /> <br />Mr. Laska presented council with quote on bases for both <br />ballfields amounting to $155.70. Matter will be dis- <br />cussed with Park Committee before decision is made. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Laska to ask Hank Miers <br />to mow the grass in the park area once more this year, <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />Messrs. Frank Zimny and Dan Skoog were in attendance <br />and discussed municipal building proposed which has <br />now been increased in size to 50 x 100. Mr. Zimny <br />drew diagram on blackboard setting out inside dimensions <br />of all space involved. Clerk was to request Springsted <br />draw up new figures on building and taxes working on <br />the $110,000.00 figure. Motion by L'Allier, second by <br />Wilharber to approve the concept (50 x 100) of this <br />municipal building, motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by L'Allier, second by Laska to approve Resolution <br />setting forth tax levy for Sanitary Sewer assessment <br />Code #12, motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Laska to approve Resolution <br />setting forth tax levy for Improvement #80-1 assessment, <br />Code #16, motion carried. <br />
