CC Meeting Minutes <br />August 23, 1989 <br />Page Seven <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Neumann to approve the August <br />1989 City Newsletter pending additions and comments which may be <br />submitted by City Council members no later than Monday, August <br />28, 1989, motion carried unanimously. <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: <br />Council member Pelton noted that the roads in the Centerville <br />Heights development are dirty. <br />Council member Burgstahler suggested waiting for the developers <br />response to the City's request for seal coating the streets <br />before requesting that the streets be cleaned or swept. <br />It was also noted that the posts at the intersection of Steven <br />Lane and Mill Road on which the previous L'Allier Development <br />real estate sign had been posted are still in the ground. It was <br />requested that the Clerk/Administrator write to the developer to <br />request that these posts be removed. <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Burgstahler to grant permission to <br />the Living Waters Lutheran Church to put a sign up on City <br />property at the intersection of Centerville Road and Heritage <br />Street which would identify the direction of the church; this <br />permission shall be reviewed annually for possible removal and <br />current placement of the sign shall be appropriately determined <br />by the Public Works Director, motion carried unanimously. <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Burgstahler to accept the current <br />payment of claims, motion carried unanimously. <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Peterson to adjourn the meeting, <br />motion carried unanimously.
