<br />CC Meeting Minutes <br />August 23, 1989 <br />Page six <br /> <br />John Stewart, ci ty Engineer, advised that after review of the <br />City aerials it would be advisable to set up a meeting with Anoka <br />County to discuss possible options. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: <br /> <br />It was noted that residents have complained of hours of <br />construction contractors working on new buildings. The concern <br />appeared to be of early and late hours. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Peterson to direct the <br />Clerk/Administrator to obtain samples of possible ordinances <br />regulating the hours of construction contractors and present a <br />draft to the City Council for possible approval; <br />Clerk/Administrator will send said draft to Bill Hawkins, ci ty <br />Attorney, for review, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />council member Pelton returned to the meeting at 9:25 p.m. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br /> <br />It was noted that the next Centennial Fire District Joint Powers <br />Agreement Steering Committee meeting will be Monday, August 28, <br />1989 at 8:00 a.m. at the Circle pines city Hall. <br />Clerk/Administrator noted that there appears to be ~ conflict and <br />that Mayor Haberman may not be able to attend. <br /> <br />Council member Peterson advised that he thought that he may be <br />able to work that meeting into his schedule. <br /> <br />Council member Neumann advised that should Peterson not be able <br />to attend that it is possible that Neumann would be able to <br />attend. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Peterson to table the North <br />Metro Recreation Commission Joint Powers Agreement until the <br />September 13, 1989 city council meeting; Jerry LeTendre, Park and <br />Recreation Committee member, will be present at this meeting to <br />explain the agreement and address any questions or concerns the <br />City Council may have, motion carried unanimously. <br />
