Clerk/Administrator is reminded to get copies <br />of the City Attorney opinion to Des Englund, Centennial Fire <br />District Steering Committee member. <br /> <br />council member Burgstahler and Peterson are attempting to set up <br />a date with the City of Lino Lakes to discuss the 1989 Police <br />Contract. <br /> <br />Motion by Peterson, second by Burgstahler to request that ci ty <br />Staff obtain additional information regarding the cost of <br />rollover telephones for City offices, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />council member Peterson advised that he had discussed the Cable <br />TV equipment wi th Mike Cussick, Cable Administrator. He noted <br />that other devices do exist such as a compact computer disk which <br />would cost more. He noted that Northwest Cable is looking at the <br />possibili ty of updating equipment and that such new equipment <br />could be re-booted, making it easier to input information by City <br />staff. He advised that he has requested that City staff record <br />down time and City staff maintenance time. <br /> <br />Motion by Haberman, second by Peterson to have cake, coffee and a <br />plaque for Bob Lindgren, Planning and Zoning commission member, <br />at the August 23, 1989 City Council meeting, motion carried <br />unanimously" <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Haberman to accept the verbal <br />resignation of Bob Lindgren, Planning and Zoning Commission <br />member, effective after the september 1989 Planning and Zoning <br />Commission meeting; it is noted that Lindgren has served on the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission for 15 years, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Neumann to approve leave of <br />absence for the Clerk/Administrator for four weeks on a full time <br />basis and four additional weeks on a half time basis effective <br />the date that she is unable to continue her duties, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Haberman, second by Peterson to approve Mavis Solheid, <br />
