Meeting Minutes -- CC <br />August 9, 1989 <br />Page Nine <br />Deputy Clerk as signer on all City monetary transactions that <br />must take place through the F'irstar Bank in Hugo during the above <br />approved leave of absence of the Clerk/Administrator, notion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Council member Pelton returned to the City Council meeting at <br />approximately 9:30 p.m. <br />City Council suggestions for the upcoming newsletter included: <br />-- Thank yous to Rivers and Lakes cleanup participants, <br />-- Thank yous to the Lions Club and Anoka County for their <br />assistance in the Park and Recreation night golf, <br />-- Explaining to the residents a building or facility <br />needs which will be written by Mayor Haberman, <br />Council member Pelton suggested surveying new residents <br />regarding their concerns and suggestions for a <br />municipal facility or requesting their input comments <br />and questions to be routed through City Half., <br />It appeared the consensus of the City Council was to <br />not include a survey regarding municipal facility in <br />the August newsletter, <br />Mailboxes, comprehensive plan, sidewalks (Council <br />member Pelton will write up a short information section <br />on sidewalks), <br />In his facility letter Mayor Haberman will include the <br />suggestion of a municipal facilities committee as <br />recommended by Dan Tourvi.11e, Planning and Zoning <br />Commission chairperson, <br />other items in the newsletter could include: <br />Update of the f loodplain , <br />Update of sidewalk on fain Street, <br />Iwo Mary Jane Lang, 1559 Peltier Lake Drive, suggested a <br />thank you to Wayne LeBlanc for all his work on the <br />Peltier Lake Association, <br />gum It appeared the consensus of the City Council was to <br />recognize the Centerville Lake and Peltier Lake <br />Associations and request donations for the Clean Water <br />Partnership Program as facilitated by Wayne LeBlanc. <br />
