<br />. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the <br />City of Centerville held its regular meeting on Wednesday, July <br />26, 1989 at City Hall. Mayor Haberman called the meeting to <br />order at 7:00 p.m. Present: Neumann, Peterson, Burgstahler, <br />Pelton. <br /> <br />APPEARANCES: <br /> <br />Wayne LeBlanc, 1677 Peltier Lake Drive, Rice Creek Watershed <br />District citizen Advisory Board member. Mr. LeBlanc presented <br />the City Council with a letter describing the Clear Water <br />Partnership Grant wi th the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. <br />This is a one time opportunity to improve the water quality of <br />Pel tier Lake, Centerville Lake and their watershed. The Rice <br />Creek Watershed District is looking for support in the form of <br />money or at the very least a letter supporting the Clear Water <br />Partnership Grant program. The Minnesota Pollution Control <br />Agency ranks applications based on local support. A copy of Mr. <br />LeBlanc's July 24, 1989 letter is on file with the <br />Clerk/Administrator. The Council will review the information <br />Mr. LeBlanc distributed to them and act on it at the August 9th <br />Council meeting. Mr. LeBlanc is looking at an August 25, 1989 <br />deadline to compile his information. <br /> <br />Motion by Pel ton, second by Peterson to approve the minutes of <br />the June 28, 1989 City Council meeting, Haberman - aye, Peterson <br />- aye, Pelton - aye, Burgstahler - aye, Neumann - abstain, motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Peterson to approve the minutes of <br />the July 12, 1989 City Council meeting, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Discussion of the <br />Centerville Road. <br />Road, was present. <br /> <br />request for repair of siding at 7073 <br />Helen Turcotte, owner of 7073 Centerville <br /> <br />It appeared the general consensus of the Council was that some <br />damage may have occurred to the siding by pucks from the old City <br />hockey rink, but the extent of the damage caused by hockey pucks <br />as opposed to some other cause was not clear. <br />
