Meeting Minutes ow CC <br />Decerber 2 7 ,, 1989 <br />Page Three <br />regarding the Flood Plain Reduction study, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Cerny Rehbei.n, present in the audience, advised that he had a <br />conversation with the Rice Creek Watershed District in which they <br />had stated that they may have $300,000*00 available to work on <br />ditch cleaning in the area,, and that possibly the city could <br />request that the Rice creek Watershed use some of these monies for <br />the Brian Drive culvert. Rehbein also expressed concern regarding <br />the property that he owns in Lino LaXes just east of the <br />Centerville City limits. He inquired as to whether the study would <br />decrease the flood plain area on his property in Lino Lakes. <br />Rehbei.n was advised that the Centerville Flood Plain Reduction <br />study would only affect properties within the City of Centerville. <br />John Stewart, City Engineer, was present to address concerns and <br />answer questions of the city Council with regard to the Water <br />System Master Plan Amendment dated December 1989 and prepared by <br />Mayer, Stewart and Associates. A copy of the plan is on file with <br />the Clerk/Administrator. <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Neumann to accept the Water System <br />Master Plant amendment dated December 1989 as prepared by Maier, <br />Stewart and Associates with the addition of the original Water <br />Master Plan map being inserted with the amendment for reference, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Pelton to direct Maier, Steuart <br />and Associates to provide an estimate to the city council for an <br />additional well and required storage capacity to facilitate a <br />potential major user of water in the Commercial and industrial <br />2ones of the City with emphasis being on the north east corner of <br />the intersection of Main Street and 20th Avenue (40 acres) and the <br />south east corner of the intersection of Main Street and 20th <br />Avenue (20 acres), motion carried unani' mously . <br />`red Horning and William Rorning were present to discuss the <br />license applications with the City Council. <br />`red Ross Horning rioted several items <br />000 He does not have a time table put together when the <br />management of the Lounge would be able to change. <br />
