Motion by Neumann, second by Pelton to table discussion of the City Logo until the currently proposed logo can be seen in print on the Anoka County Chamber of Commerce area map, motion carried unanimously. Municipal Facilities. Motion by Burgstahler, second by Pelton to table discussion of the municipal facilities until the December 13, 1989 city Council meeting; City council members are requested to present rankings to the Clerk/Administrator with regard to possible architectural firms, motion carried unanimously. NEW BUSINESS Escrow for Residential Development Expenditures. Motion by Burgstahler, second by Peterson to request City staff to draft a possible resolution proposing protection for the city with regard to repayment for costs incurred in the early stages of a development, motion carried unanimously. Chairs and File Cabinets. Motion by Burgstahler, second by Neumann to authorize the Clerk/Administrator and the Public Works Director to purchase up to eight chairs to be used in the Council Chambers at a cost of $13.50 each and to also authorize the purchase of two file cabinets at a cost of $80.00 each, motion carried unanimously. Christmas Party. Clerk/Administrator advised that the Christmas Party has been set up for December 21, 1989 at Mardees Restaurant in Circle Pines. Council members requested that the list of persons invi ted be extended from last year. Mayor Haberman suggested an appreciation banquet for fire fighters. Christ~as Decoration~. Clerk/Administrator requested authorization to put up Christmas decorations on the intersection of Main street and Centerville Road. Motion by Haberman to allocate $150.00 to purchase Christmas decorations for the City, motion died for lack of a second.
