Pelton agreed with the Centerville
Economic Development Task Force that the logo should promote
economic development.

Council member Burgstahler noted that he did not understand the
logo, it does not tell a story. He suggested that the City may
be going about this backwards, possibly the City should decide
what they want to say first.

Council member Peterson advised that the City Council should say
they like the logo or come up with definite direction. Unless
this is done the logo may continue to go around and around for
another year. He noted that if the City Council were to adopt
the logo, it wouldnrt have to be forever, logos change.

Motion by Peterson, second by Neumann to adopt the proposed City
l~ci~ ~~~~mm~nd~d by the Centerville Economic DeveJ_opment Task
Force; aye: Peterson, Neumann, nay: Pelton, Burgstahler.
