<br />Meeting Minutes CC <br />October 25, 1989 <br />Page Five <br /> <br />1989 STREET MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />It was noted that there is a concern regarding an overlay for the <br />1989 Street Maintenance Project. The City Council advised that <br />they would like an Anoka County response to the questionable <br />condition of the overlay_ <br /> <br />COUNTY ROAD 14 IMPROVEMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Haberman, second by Peterson to direct City Staff to <br />write a letter to the Peltier Lake Association and to advise that <br />their suggestion regarding a bridge between Centerville Lake and <br />Peltier Lake near the Waterworks Bar was discussed with Anoka <br />County; it was felt that the Department of Natural Resources and <br />the Rice Creek Watershed would not approve of such a bridge due <br />to possible environmental damage; the Council would like the <br />Peltier Lake Association to know that the possibility of a bridge <br />between Centerville Lake and Peltier Lake is not as yet an <br />impossibility and will continue to be a consideration, motion <br />carried unanimously_ <br /> <br />CITY PROMOTION <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Pelton to direct the City staff <br />to reserve a one inch by three inch advertisement on the 1989 <br />Anoka County Chamber of Commerce area map by Impressive <br />Directions Incorporated if the copy deadline is after the first <br />City Council meeting following the next Centerville Economic <br />Development Task Force meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />CITY LOGO <br /> <br />Clerk/Administrator advised that Polly Daas had submitted a <br />revised proposal that has been accepted by the Centerville <br />Economic Development Task Force and has been recommended by the <br />Task Force for approval by the City Council. This will be on the <br />November 8, 1989 City Council agenda. <br /> <br />PAYMENT OF CLAIMS <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Burgstahler to make current payment <br />of claims, motion carried unanimously_ <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />Motion by Haberman to solicit resumes for City Attorney, no <br />second, motion failed. <br /> <br />Motion by Pelton, second by Haberman to direct City staff to <br />
