Meeting Minutes CC
October 25, 1989
Page Four
Clerk/Administrator advised that Mary Ayde of Lake Sanitation
will be asked to attend a November City Council meeting to
discuss several 'items to 'include the disposal of limbs, of trees,
a letter of complaint received earlier in the year regarding
possible adjustment of fees to reflect the amount of garbage put
on the curbside by residents, to discuss the costs of monthly
bills with regard to the increase in the Spring of 1989 and
recycling bins.
Council member Pelton advised that she has requested eight
brochures from various architectural firms regarding municipal
buildings.
Motion by Pelton, second by Peterson to direct City staff to
write to businesses within the City of Centerville to see if they
would like to participate; should the businesses choose to
participate they will do so on their own as this will not
necessarily be a City project, motion carried unanimously.
City staff will contact Gerry LeTendre of the Park & Recreation
Committee to see if dates are set for night golf in 1990, and if
so this may be an appropriate project for Celebrate Minnesota.
If the date and specifics are set for the fund raiser, the City
staff will check to see if the deadline can be extended for
participation in the Celebrate Minnesota program.
No date was set for the next budget meeting. It was noted that
the budget would have to be certified to the Anoka County Auditor
by December 28, 1989.
Mayor Haberman noted that he would not be available for a meeting
until November 20, 1989.
It was suggested that the Council check the Clerks progress on
obtaining appropriate numbers for the budget, which have been
4
determined after the close of the legislative session, at the
November 8, 1989 City Council meeting.
