<br />. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Centerville ci ty <br />Council held their regular meeting on September 27, 1989 at City <br />Hall. Mayor Haberman called the meeting to order at 7: 00 p.m. <br />Present: Peterson, Pelton, Burgstahler, Neumann. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Neumann to approve the minutes of <br />the September 13, 1989 City council meeting, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Burgstahler to approve the minutes of <br />the September 7, 1989 special meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPEARANCES: <br /> <br />Joe Pelton, Centerville Police Liaison, was not present as he had <br />no additional information to present the City Council. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Discussion of the Columbus Lions Club application to run pull tabs <br />at the Trio Inn and Gregg's Centerville Lounge. <br /> <br />Presently the Centerville Lions Club has the license for the Trio <br />Inn which they have abandoned as of November 1, 1989. The National <br />Ataxia Foundation has the license for Gregg's Centerville Lounge <br />to expire December 1, 1989. <br /> <br />Jim Masteller was present from the Columbus Lions Club. Mr. <br />Masteller noted the Columbus Lions propose to run the pull tabs <br />from a booth as opposed to having the bartenders run them. Up to <br />45% of their proceeds can go toward expenses to operate the pull <br />tabs. Of that 45%, 5% will go to the Centerville Lions Club. The <br />other 55% can be donated to different causes. Mr. Masteller noted <br />the Centerville Lions Club abandoned their license, and the <br />Columbus Lions Club is applying for a new license. Mr. Masteller <br />also requested the City council waive the 60 day waiting period, <br />as they would like to begin November 1, 1989. <br /> <br />Motion by Haberman, second by Peterson to approve the Columbus <br />Lions Club charitable gambling license to run pull tabs at the Trio <br />Inn as soon as the license is approved by the State; to approve <br />the Columbus Lions charitable gambling license to run pull tabs at <br />Gregg's Centerville Lounge effective December 1, 1989 with the <br />state's approval; to wai ve the 60 day wai ting period; and to <br />donate 5% of the proceeds to the Centerville Lion's Club, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Discussion of the Hardwood Ponds punch list dated September 19, <br />1989. A copy of this punch list is on file with the <br />Clerk/Administrator. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Neumann to notify Gerald Rehbein, <br />developer of the Hardwood Pond Estates development, that the <br />
