<br />CC Meeting Minutes <br />September 27, 1989 <br />Page Two <br /> <br />completion date for correcting i terns on the punch list dated <br />September 19, 1989 has been extended to November 1, 1989, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Update on the Centerville Heights development. To date Harstad <br />Companies has been non-responsive to the punch list items to be <br />completed by September 27, 1989. The streets have been marked by <br />the engineers where correction is needed. Clerk/Administrator will <br />proceed to draw on the appropriate letter of credit and warranty <br />bond as motioned at the September 5, 1989 special City council <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Discussion of the storm Drainage Master Plan dated September 25, <br />1989, for the North Central and East planning districts in <br />Centerville. A copy of this plan from Maier, stewart & Associates <br />is on file wi th the Clerk/Administrator. It was the general <br />consensus of the city Engineer and the city council to wait to hear <br />from the Metropolitan Council on the MUSA boundary change before <br />taking action on a storm drainage plan in that area. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Pel ton to direct the <br />Clerk/Administrator to determine if the storm Drainage Master Plan <br />could be financed by Tax Increment Financing District II (L'Allier <br />Estates II), motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Discussion of the Center Oaks II punch list dated September 18, <br />1989. A copy of this punch list from Maier, stewart & Associates <br />is on file wi th the Clerk/Administrator. Terry Mauer, ci ty <br />Engineer, advised that all items appeared to be completed except <br />some seeding. He suggested approving the project, and retaining <br />enough money to seed in the spring. <br /> <br />Council member Burgstahler noted that Maier, stewart & Associates <br />usually provides a letter of recommendation to approve, forms to <br />sign and a dollar amount to retain for items to be completed. <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Burgstahler to table final acceptance <br />of Center Oaks II until the October 11 ci ty Council meeting; <br />allowing time to receive from Maier, stewart & Associates a letter <br />of recommendation, necessary forms to sign and the dollar amount <br />of retainage for seeding, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Discussion of the Flood Hazard Grant Assistance Application. It <br />was the general consensus of the city council that the City should <br />go forward to obtain this grant money. It was not clear where the <br />matching funds would come from, but the City could always refuse <br />the grant if necessary. <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Pelton to approve the application for <br />Flood Hazard Grant Assistance , motion carried unanimously. <br />
