CC Meeting Minutes September 27, 1989 Page Two completion date for correcting i terns on the punch list dated September 19, 1989 has been extended to November 1, 1989, motion carried unanimously. Update on the Centerville Heights development. To date Harstad Companies has been non-responsive to the punch list items to be completed by September 27, 1989. The streets have been marked by the engineers where correction is needed. Clerk/Administrator will proceed to draw on the appropriate letter of credit and warranty bond as motioned at the September 5, 1989 special City council meeting. Discussion of the storm Drainage Master Plan dated September 25, 1989, for the North Central and East planning districts in Centerville. A copy of this plan from Maier, stewart & Associates is on file wi th the Clerk/Administrator. It was the general consensus of the city Engineer and the city council to wait to hear from the Metropolitan Council on the MUSA boundary change before taking action on a storm drainage plan in that area. Motion by Burgstahler, second by Pel ton to direct the Clerk/Administrator to determine if the storm Drainage Master Plan could be financed by Tax Increment Financing District II (L'Allier Estates II), motion carried unanimously. Discussion of the Center Oaks II punch list dated September 18, 1989. A copy of this punch list from Maier, stewart & Associates is on file wi th the Clerk/Administrator. Terry Mauer, ci ty Engineer, advised that all items appeared to be completed except some seeding. He suggested approving the project, and retaining enough money to seed in the spring. Council member Burgstahler noted that Maier, stewart & Associates usually provides a letter of recommendation to approve, forms to sign and a dollar amount to retain for items to be completed. Motion by Neumann, second by Burgstahler to table final acceptance of Center Oaks II until the October 11 ci ty Council meeting; allowing time to receive from Maier, stewart & Associates a letter of recommendation, necessary forms to sign and the dollar amount of retainage for seeding, motion carried unanimously. Discussion of the Flood Hazard Grant Assistance Application. It was the general consensus of the city council that the City should go forward to obtain this grant money. It was not clear where the matching funds would come from, but the City could always refuse the grant if necessary. Motion by Neumann, second by Pelton to approve the application for Flood Hazard Grant Assistance , motion carried unanimously.
