CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Capra called the March 12, 2008, City Council Work Session to order at 8:31 p.m. <br /> <br />ll. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />a. Downtown Redevelopment - Beard Group Update <br /> <br />City Engineer presented options for the downtown redevelopment <br /> <br />Discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra requested the original Pavement Management Plan for review. She stated <br />she would like to know which streets were pushed back and which were scheduled for <br />2009. <br /> <br />b. 2009 Street Imorovement ProiectlPavement Management Plan <br /> <br />City Engineer distributed a copy of the 2009 Street Improvement ProjectlPavement <br />Management Plan and discussed Option 1. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Council member Broussard-Vickers stated that she has an issue related to the requirement <br />to hook up to City water. She stated that if what the City is really trying to do is support <br />the City water system could be done a different way. She indicated that everyone <br />benefits whether they hook up to City water system or not. She recommended that <br />
