<br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />August 22, 1990 <br />Page 6 <br /> <br />street Scape <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Neumann to accept the amendments <br />to the City of Centerville street Scape Standards as presented by <br />John Stewart, City Engineer, at this meeting, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />A copy of the amended street Scape Standards are on file with the <br />Clerk/Administrator. <br /> <br />Consent Agenda <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Neumann to approve the following <br />consent agenda items: <br />-A senior citizen deferment request for Mr. & Mrs. Norbert <br />Tuerk for their 1987 Street Reconstruction Assessments <br />beginning 1991; <br />-To approve appointment of Council member Burgstahler to the <br />Employee Review Board as a result of Council member <br />Neumann's resignation to the Board; <br />-That the Clerk/Administrator is directed to solicit <br />proposals from other attorneys who may be interested in <br />serving as the Centerville city Attorney; <br />-The Clerk/Administrator is authorized to order a plaque for <br />Archie Gay in recognition for his service to the <br />Centennial Fire District as part time and acting Chief <br />from 1987 to August 1990; <br />-The Clerk/Administrator is authorized to order a plaque for <br />Jerry Peterson for his service as a Council member from <br />1988 to August 1990; <br />-The following persons shall be appointed as Election Judges <br />for the 1990 Election: Joyce Dupre, Joan LaMotte, <br />Margaret Hensel, Debbie Gonsior, Mary Jane Lang, Shirley <br />Drewlo, Rosemary Barrot, Mary Ann Thill, Marilyn <br />Erkenbrack, and Judy Almendinger shall be appointed as <br />an al ternate; the Election Judges shall recei ve an <br />increase in pay from $4.50 per hour to $4.75 per hour; <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Centennial School District <br />Motion by Pelton, second by Neumann to accept an invitation by the <br />Centennial School Board to attend a breakfast meeting at Mardees <br />Restaurant in Circle pines from 7:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. on September <br />19, 1990; items expected to be discussed will be the upcoming bond <br />issue, overcrowding of the schools, and other issues may also be <br />brought up at this time, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Municipal Facilities <br />Motion by Pelton, second by Burgstahler to direct City staff to <br />send a RFP with a revised cover letter to Jeffrey Carlson Group, <br />Inc. so that they may submit a proposal for an architectural design <br />
