<br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />November 28, 1990 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />Pelton - aye, Burgstahler - abstain; motion carried. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Municipal Facility <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Pelton to authorize a feasibility <br />study to be completed by Jeff Carlstrom of Carlstrom Companies; <br />-the feasibility study shall encompass the City Hall site; <br />-it would include some site plan as how the facility fits on <br />the site; <br />-there will be a rough schematic with a cost figure that will <br />include the cost of basic site work and fill; <br />-the City Council shall address an alternate site later if it <br />chooses to compare two sites; <br />-this will be done in the future only if the alternate site <br />is available; <br />-the study shall include a look at the use of the current City <br />Hall building; <br />-the cost of the feasibility study shall not exceed $1,000; <br />-if the Carlstrom Group is hired for the project the $1,000 <br />will be deducted from their fee; <br />-the feasibility study will be ready to be presented to the <br />City Council at the first meeting in January; <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Enqineerin9 Liaison Report <br />Council members Burgstahler and Pelton, City Engineer liaisons, <br />advised that they have met with the City Engineer regarding their <br />annual review. It was noted that the review went positively, and <br />that in the future the City Engineer attendance at City Council <br />meetings will be more limited, unless special projects require his <br />attendance. <br /> <br />Government Traininq Service Seminar <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Pelton to authorize the <br />Clerk/Administrator and one Ci ty Council member to attend the <br />Government Training Service Seminar titled "Public Construction <br />Planning and Management: The Method for Success"; motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Municipal Water Extension - Northdale Construction <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Buckbee <br />-that per the recommendation of the City Engineer partial pay <br />estimate 11 in the amount of $156,150.80 shall be made <br />to Northdale Construction Company, Inc. with regard to <br />the 1990 Municipal Water Extension; <br />-that per the recommendation of the City Engineer, the City <br />Council accepts a certificate of substantial completion <br />for Northdale Construction except as noted on a letter <br />dated November 26, 1990 from Maier, Stewart and <br />
