<br />Meeting Minutes CC <br />November 14, 1990 <br />page three <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />p;~li;i~~;y concept of townhouse proposal - (Richard DeFoe) <br />Council member Burgstahler arrived at 7:50 p.m. <br /> <br />John Stewart, City Engineer, was present for preliminary <br />discussion of this project. He advised that should the City <br />Council request a feasibility study for the extension of <br />municipal water to the proposed townhome development that this <br />could be accomplished by Maier, Stewart and Associates for a fee <br />not to exceed $1,000.00. <br /> <br />Motion Burgstahler, second by Pelton to directed Maier, Stewart <br />and Associates to prepare a feasibility study for the <br />extension of municipal water to the proposed townhome <br />development near the Waterworks Bar not to exceed <br />$1,000.00; <br />-50% of the cost of the feasibility study shall be paid for <br />by the developer, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />o~~ :~SINESS <br />P__i__ - Contract Review Areas <br />enforcement. <br />Donna Erickson, 1548 Peltier Lake <br />regarding the 1991 police service. <br /> <br />of concern <br /> <br />for future <br /> <br />Drive, <br /> <br />asked <br /> <br />questions <br /> <br />The City Council <br />consider a two year <br />Police Department. <br /> <br />appeared to <br />contract <br /> <br />be in agreement that they would <br />with the Circle Pines-Lexington <br /> <br />This would be contingent upon the shared cost of unemployment <br />compensation to be 1/3 to the City of Centerville, should the <br />contract terminate after two years and that the City of <br />Centerville would have the option to reconsider coverage <br />flexibility. <br /> <br />Council member Neumann advised that after December 31, 1990 he <br />would no longer be a Council member and he noted that he would be <br />interested in servicing as a police liaison for the City of <br />Centerville to the Circle Pines-Lexington Police Department. <br /> <br />Munici~al Facilities <br />Mayor Haberman advised that he and Council member Neumann did <br />visit the sites of some of the buildings built by Carlstrom <br />Companies. Both he and Council member Neumann appeared to be <br />pleased with the facilities shown to them. <br /> <br />Council member Buckbee expressed concerns that plans for fire <br />
