<br />CC Meeting Minutes <br />September 26, 1990 <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />Mayor Haberman noted that when the city had toured the Champlin <br />facilities, they had noted extreme cost over runs with Boarman as <br />the architect. <br />-He still likes the idea of setting a dollar figure and seeing <br />what the City can get for it. <br />-The City needs a good useable structure with some character. <br /> <br />Council member Neumann added that in the Boarman revised proposal <br />that reproductions insurance and travel are additional costs to the <br />percentage given. He has difficulty accepting Boarman as the <br />architect, and that he is more comfortable with the Carlstrom <br />Group. <br /> <br />Council member Buckbee noted that experience is important. <br /> <br />Jeff carlstrom of the Carlstrom Group noted that the fees given by <br />Carlstrom are inclusive of everything, and that the specific dollar <br />amounts given were averages in the proposal. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Neumann to accept the offer of <br />David R. Kroos of Boarman and Associates Inc. and request that they <br />meet with the City at the october 10, 1990 City Council meeting to <br />discuss the revised fee quotations for the proposed project, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Donna Erickson, 1548 Peltier Lake Drive, asked questions of the <br />proposed project. <br /> <br />Police Service - 1991 <br />The following audience members asked questions and expressed <br />opinions regarding the 1991 Police Service Contract. <br />Mary Jo Helmbrecht, 1745 Main Street <br />Udo Wegmann, 1742 Main Street <br />Mike Carter, 6913 Sumac Court <br />Beverly Hughes, 1793 Center Street <br />Michele Chapeau, 7154 Shad Avenue <br />Donna Erickson, 1548 Peltier Lake Drive <br />cindy Wegmann, 1742 Main Street <br />cindy Paschke, 1740 Peltier Lake Drive <br /> <br />Bruce Keller and Dave Zerwas, Lino Lakes police Officers, were also <br />present. <br /> <br />Council member Buckbee noted some of the following. <br />-The County would increase c01lJl\Unity services that Lino Lakes <br />has proposed to take away. <br />-Most people appear happy with the Lino Lakes police service. <br /> <br />Mayor Haberman noted some of the following. <br />
