<br />CC Meeting Minutes <br />September 26, 1990 <br />Page 9 <br /> <br />Tom Dario, 1517 Peltier Lake Drive, audience member spoke on this <br />issue. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Neumann to table discussion of <br />charitable gambling- ordinance until the November 10, 1990 City <br />Council meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Sorel Street Sewer ~akage <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Neumann to direct City staff to <br />work with the City Attorney to take appropriate action to dig up <br />a septic tank at 7059 Goiffon Avenue, as this may be causing a <br />health problem if the sewage is being drained into the storm sewer <br />field, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />City Attorney Proposal <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Neumann <br />-to direct City staff to obtain proposals from 5 to 6 City <br />Attorneys and coordinate a date at which interviews could <br />be held with those City Attorneys: <br />-October 17, 1990 appears to be an appropriate date: <br />-the Clerk/Administrator will coordinate the interview date: <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Consent Ageqda <br />Motion by Haberman, second by Neumann to accept the following <br />consent agenda items: <br />-the approval of attendance of the Assistant City Clerk to the <br />Communications Seminar - "Persuading, Influencinq and <br />Communicatinq with Others" November 19 and 26, 1990 at <br />the Anoka County Community College at a cost of $49.00: <br />-approval of a time manaqement seminar for the <br />Clerk/Administrator titled "Manaqinq Your Time For <br />Results" on October 22, 1990 at the Anoka County <br />Community College at a cost of $25.00: <br />-approve a letter to be sent to the City of Lino Lakes <br />thanking them for the opportunity to meet with their <br />planner regarding their planning on the 35E interchange <br />and accepting their invi tation to participate in the <br />planninq process of the 35E interchange to the extent <br />that Centerville could appoint representatives to attend <br />the Lino Lakes Economic Development Committee and/or <br />Design Review Board meetings: <br />motion carried unanimously. . <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Haberman to adopt resolutions to <br />certify delinquent utility billings (sewer, water, garbage), if not <br />paid by October 4, 1990: motion carried unanimously.
