City Council Meeting Minutes
September 12, 1990
Page 8

I

Council member Buckbee questioned the future need of a second
elevated storage tank. He suggested that the City utilize one
large storage tank.

John Stewart, City Engineer, noted that it would be good for the
City to have duplicity. The trees need to be 7 to 8 feet back from the
curb.
-She did not want to see another situation like Mill Road
where there are a large number of children and where
there would be a future need for a sidewalk so the City
is trying to implement the improvement at this time.
-That the city does want a trail access system off the
collector streets so that residents can get to the City
parks.
-That with the development proposed to the north of Hardwood
Ponds, the traffic on Brian Drive will increase and it would
