The rehab work to the existing play
structure will be performed by Earl F. Anderson. The new equipment and relocation of existing equipment will be
performed by Game Time. I have a quote for the balance of the site and border work from AJ Ross Concrete &
Masonry which will include a curving and colored concrete border which is an enhancement from the original
design. The price is within the budgeted amount for the work and originally the public works staff with the
seasonal help were going to perform some of these items, but with being short staffed and the desire to have the
playground work completed by June 15"', we need to contract out the entire project. The play equipment
contractors will be starting within the next few weeks and some site work will need to be completed before they
can install the equipment. I'm requesting that the Council approve the work for these three contractors for the
proposed amounts not to exceed the budgeted amounts for each phase of the work.
