City of Centerville
Council Meeling Minutes
April 9, 2008

Mr. Slotterback stated that on April I st, the Planning Commission met and discussed the
property at 6882 and 6892 Centerville Road; this property was previously guided as high
density residential and it is recommended that it be changed to low density. He indicated
that there were previous discussions about having this property used for senior housing
and if the property remains guided as high density residential and a developer comes in
that meets the code for an allowable use, any development would need to be approved.
He stated that as a result of this change, the population projections, net density, and other
relevant tables and figures in the Comprehensive Plan have been revised.

Mayor Capra recessed the City Council meeting at 8:41 p.m.

Randy Dejong, Anoka County Assessor's Office, presented the Board of Appeal and
Equalization certification for signature by all members of the City Council. He stated
that the representatives of Anoka County were able to work on 22 parcels this evening
and requested a decision by the City Council on whether to reconvene the Board of
Appeal and Equalization hearing or to adjourn the meeting. He explained that if the
Council chooses to reconvene the hearing, residents would be given an opportunity to
present their case to the Council and have the Council make a decision; alternatively, if
the Council adjourns the meeting, residents would then go to the County Board to appeal.

Mayor Capra stated that the official record will reflect that each resident who appeared at
the hearing this evening was given an opportunity to meet with officials from Anoka
County or to have someone from Anoka County contact them at a later date.

Motion bv Council Member Lee. seconded bv Council Member Lakso. to adiourn
the 2008 Anoka County Board of Anneal and Equalization Beann!!.
