<br />City Council Meeting Minutes of December 27, 1995 <br /> <br />COLLECTION SYSTEMS OPERA TORS SEMINAR <br /> <br />Paul Patzer stated that public works would like to send four employees, some of these <br />hours are needed to continue license. Because the seminar is held in January it was not <br />felt that all four should go. Two go this year, two go next year. <br /> <br />MOTION by Wilharber, second by Powers-Rasmussen to approve the expenditure of the <br />two full-time public works employees (Paul Patzer and John Brushun) to attend the <br />seminar. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />THE BRlMEYER GROUP PROPOSAL <br /> <br />The Council discussed the proposal received from Brimeyer and also the applications <br />already received for the position. They also took into consideration the city's history of <br />Administrators. <br /> <br />They considered using Brimeyer for part of the process, but then they wouldn't receive a <br />guarantee. <br /> <br />MOTION by Powers-Rasmussen, second by Buckbee to accept the proposal of the <br />Brimeyer Group for the full search. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Staff is to send a letter to all the applicants informing them of the action taken, and that <br />their application win be forwarded to Brimeyer. <br /> <br />S. L. DREAM HOMES I CARI,F.Y ENGINEER <br /> <br />Buckbee stated that the city does not have as builts for that property and the S. L. Dream <br />Homes was told that. They were also told that the plans was not guaranteed to be correct. <br /> <br />MOTION by Buckbee, second by Powers-Rasmussen to send a letter to S. L. Dream <br />Homes informing them that the city will not reimburse him for the extra costs incurred <br />during this project. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />DISCLAIMERS <br /> <br />MOTION by Helmbrecht, second by Powers-Rasmussen to direct Paul Patzer to look into <br />putting a disclaimer on the city's forms. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PAYMENT OF CLAIMS <br /> <br />Pull Rehbein's pay estimate and pull the check to Minnesota Public Employees Insurance. <br /> <br />CC12-27M.WPS <br /> <br />9 <br />
