City Council Meeting Minutes of December 27, 1995 COLLECTION SYSTEMS OPERA TORS SEMINAR Paul Patzer stated that public works would like to send four employees, some of these hours are needed to continue license. Because the seminar is held in January it was not felt that all four should go. Two go this year, two go next year. MOTION by Wilharber, second by Powers-Rasmussen to approve the expenditure of the two full-time public works employees (Paul Patzer and John Brushun) to attend the seminar. Motion carried unanimously. THE BRlMEYER GROUP PROPOSAL The Council discussed the proposal received from Brimeyer and also the applications already received for the position. They also took into consideration the city's history of Administrators. They considered using Brimeyer for part of the process, but then they wouldn't receive a guarantee. MOTION by Powers-Rasmussen, second by Buckbee to accept the proposal of the Brimeyer Group for the full search. Motion carried unanimously. Staff is to send a letter to all the applicants informing them of the action taken, and that their application win be forwarded to Brimeyer. S. L. DREAM HOMES I CARI,F.Y ENGINEER Buckbee stated that the city does not have as builts for that property and the S. L. Dream Homes was told that. They were also told that the plans was not guaranteed to be correct. MOTION by Buckbee, second by Powers-Rasmussen to send a letter to S. L. Dream Homes informing them that the city will not reimburse him for the extra costs incurred during this project. Motion carried unanimously. DISCLAIMERS MOTION by Helmbrecht, second by Powers-Rasmussen to direct Paul Patzer to look into putting a disclaimer on the city's forms. Motion carried unanimously.
