<br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />OCTOBER 15, 1995 PUBLIC HEARING <br />DELINQUENT WATER AND SEWER ACCOUNTS <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the City of Centerville held a <br />public hearing on Wednesday, October 25, 1995 at the City Hall. Mayor Wilharber called <br />the public hearing to order at 6:50 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENT: Mayor Wilharber <br />Councilmember Buckbee <br />Councilmember Helmbrecht <br />Councilmember Brenner <br /> <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Powers-Rasmussen <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber read the public hearing notice that stated: <br /> <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of <br />Centerville will hold a public hearing on proposed special assessments for <br />delinquent quarterly sewer and water bills. Such hearing will be held at the <br />City Hall, 1880 Main Street, Centerville, Minnesota, on Wednesday, <br />October 25, 1995 at 6:45 p.m. <br /> <br />At the hearing written or oral objections to the proposed assessments by <br />any property owner will be considered. No appeal may be taken as to the <br />amount of any assessment adopted after the hearing unless a written <br />objection signed by the affected property owner is filed with the City Clerk <br />prior to the Assessment hearing or is presented to the presiding officer at <br />the hearing. An owner may appeal as assessment to District Court <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.081 by serving notice within 30 days <br />after the adoption of the assessment and by filing such notice with the <br />District Court of Anoka County within ten (10) days after service of the <br />notice of appeal upon the Mayor or Clerk. <br /> <br />There were no residents present. Councilmembers reviewed the list of delinquent <br />accounts. <br /> <br />MOTION by Buckbee, second by Brenner to close the public hearing at 6:55 p.m. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />~lj)tZ~cpJ <br /> <br />Trudi Breuninger <br />Assistant City Clerk <br />
