Mayor Wilharber called the
workshop to order at 5:05 p.m.

PRESENT: Mayor Wilharber
Councilmember Buckbee
Councilmember Helmbrecht
Councilmember Brenner
Councilmember Powers-Rasmussen

The Council discussed the job description for the full-time City Coordinator position and
also the salary range depending on qualifications.

Consensus of the council requests that staff work with the Employee Review Board on an
advertisement for the City Coordinator Position.

PRESENT: Tammy Miltz-Miller, former Clerk! Administrator
John Stewart, Engineer MSA

The Council discussed the Acorn Creek Second Addition project, when the assessment
hearing should be and the dollar amount.

There was concern shown regarding using the city's money for the project if it wasn't
assessed until the spring of 1996.

If the project was to be assessed this fall and reassessed in the spring, the questioned was
asked who would get the refund - the developer or the property owner. There was a
request for staff to contact the League ofMn Cities on reassessments.

The Developer requested that the assessments be per lot instead of per front footage of
the lot, so that each lot is assessed the same amount.

Steps that need to be done:
1. Rehbein needs to establish an escrow of$39,781.70 for legal and engineering
fees as per the contract.
2. Resolution to change the street name. Staff is to check with the County to see
is this process is acceptable to them or if they would prefer the plats be changed.
3. Record the plat.

1
